The Upward Patriots fought a hard fight against the Steelers and came up short. The entire team seemed off and the offense and defense never clicked to execute correctly. The Patriots made some good passes and had a few good runs, but weren’t able to get on a roll. The defense played tough and made some critical stops when needed. All the players stayed positive and plan to bring their A game against the next opponent.

The Upward Patriots took it to the Chargers by completing some long passes and running all over the defense. Blake completed a big pass to Austin Yerby for a TD early, and the Patriots never looked back. Every player on the team had a huge run or pass and all but one player on the team scored a touchdown or extra point. The team really clicked on defense, too, holding the Chargers to very few yards and stopping them on 3rd & 4th down several times.
Blake and the Upward Patriots played a tough first game against the Steelers. Blake played QB and completed several passes, scored 2 touchdowns, knocked down 2 passes, and sacked the QB once. He broke away for a long run from the 5yd line to score the teams first touchdown. The Steelers jumped out early to lead by 2 touchdowns, but the Patriots rallied to finish only 2 points short! The entire team adjusted well and showed a lot of potential for the remainder of the season.
