Blake faced some stiff competition at Noah’s Motopark on May 2nd while competing in three different classes: 65cc 7-9, 65 Unlimited, and Preteen. Noah’s Motopark hosted a combined CAMSeries race and NMA Ponca City Qualifier, so riders came from all over the southeast to compete. Blake welcomed the new competition and never backed down. (more…)

BLAKE GETS APRIL FOOLED!
Friday, April 2nd, 2010
Not even The Snake is immune on April Fool’s Day! Blake walked outside expecting to have an early Easter picture taken and found a new addition to his racing arsenal in the driveway. Needless to say, he was surprised and didn’t waste any time jumping on the bike and took it for a few spins around the yard. (more…)

BLAKE’S SPOILS FROM 2009 MX SEASON
Friday, February 26th, 2010
Blake enjoyed great results from all the hard work and sacrifice he made during the 2009 motocross season. After racing in 21 CAMSeries events (that’s every race of the series) and attending 2 different MX Camps, Blake enjoyed winning several trophies and plaques! Nearly every time Blake sat on his bike and raced in any of the 3 classes he competed in (65cc 7-9, Open 4-Stroke, and Small 4-Stroke) he won a podium spot. (more…)
BLAKE DEFENDS STRONG CAMS SEASON STANDINGS
Monday, September 21st, 2009
Blake has worked hard this 2009 MX season to make every race so far in the CAM (Central Alabama Motocross) Series. He’s traveled throughout the state to compete in 15 races and looks forward to finishing the season strong. His commitment to make the races and to ride hard while there has earned him some great spots in the season points.
| CLASS | SEASON POINTS POSITION |
| 65cc 7-9 | 3rd Place (This class has over 30+ racers competing throughout the season) |
| Open 4-Stroke | 2nd Place |
| Small 4-Stroke | 2nd Place |
In the 65cc 7-9 class Blake is currently in 3rd place behind a couple really good riders and in front of some equally talented ones. He’s in a tough points chase with his close friends Cody Pharr and Alex Collins, who always ride hard and provide for exciting races. They are always trading positions and its hard to know who’ll finish in front when they race. Yet, off the track they’re good friends and love to
shoot guns, ride bikes, and play outside. Blake, Alex, and Cody are new to the 65cc class and have really held their own this season. They’re quickly becoming the dominating riders in this class and promise to provide some great racing in 2010.
In the Open 4-Stroke class Blake is currently 2nd in points behind his friend Cody Pharr. They both added this class after the first few races and quickly dominated with top podium finishes. As they do in the 65cc class, Blake and Cody push each other hard and make for some great races. The final results may come down to the last race of the season.
Blake began racing in the Small 4-Stroke class later in the season and thus missed about 5 races. Even with this handicap, Blake quickly began racking up 1st place finishes to hold the current 2nd place spot in this class. He’s chasing down the 1st place points holder, his friend Grant Mitchell, in every race.
Racing three classes makes for a lot of racing and a long race day for Blake, but he loves all the seat time and has really developed well as a rider. Blake has 6 more races remaining and is looking forward to finishing strong. He loves the tracks that are part of the CAM Series. BLAKE WINS 2 HOLESHOTS, 1ST PLACE, 3RD PLACE, & 6TH PLACE AT NOAH’S MX PARK
Sunday, June 14th, 2009
The rain and mud couldn’t slow “The Snake” down at Noah’s Moto Park! The race team arrived on Friday night and it was clear that Noah and his crew had been working hard on the track, it looked great! We awoke Saturday morning and hit the track with one of Blake’s friends, Tab Beverly. Tab and Blake threw down some great laps, railed some turns, and pretty much worked over the track until an unexpected rain storm moved in that prevented the rest of the day’s practice.
When raceday rolled around the rain provided the right kind of moisture and the track looked great. Blake began the day with the 65cc 7-9 moto. Eleven bikes lined up at the gate next to Blake, but he stayed confident and got a great start. Blake left the gate in 5th and held that position the majority of the race until passed on the last lap by his friend Alex Collins. Blake and his other friend Cody Farr fought over the 6th position the entire race. Blake jumped an uphill double bigger than he ever has and was really railing turns perfectly. Blake had a great race on his Kawasaki Monster Energy KX 65 and can’t wait to race it again. Blake finished 6th overall in the 65cc 7-9 class.
Blake’s next race was the Small 4-Stroke Class where he raced his KLX 110. Blake and his friend Tab Beverly raced four other riders in a great race. Blake won the holeshot and never looked back. He checked out from the rest of the field and got faster each lap. Blake finished with another first place podium and continued his domination of this class with another 1st place overall!
Right before Blake’s last race, the Open 4-Stroke class, a surprise thunderstorm rolled in and dumped tons of water on the track. This made for extremely muddy conditions. Blake has ridden in conditions like that before, so he wasn’t concerned in the least. When the gate dropped he jumped out front quick to win the holeshot but wrecked in a huge hole hidden by a lot of water in the track. He got back on his bike and fought to finish 3rd. He and his friend Cody Farr fought for the 3rd place spot and all the riders in that class showed a lot of talent and ability to make a race out of those conditions. It reminded a lot of spectators of the AMA Daytona race that ran in the rain and mud. These amatuer riders rode as well as the pros did! Blake finished 3rd place overall in the Open 4-Stroke class.
It would be impossible for Blake to maintain two race bikes, an rv/toyhauler, and make all the races and fees without the generous support of his sponsors. Please visit their sites and buy some stuff from them:
