Blake and the Upward Hawks played a tough game vs the Bobcats! “We know they want to beat us bad. Since we beat them last time” said Blake when interviewed before the game.

And as expected, the Bobcats brought their “A” game. They provided a tough defense keeping many of our players out of the lane. And several of their players like Taylor Ray and Nathan Puckett scored at will. The Hawks didn’t allow the Bobcats to ruffle their feathers, though! They played a tough, smothering defense allowing only a few baskets and when on offense they made great passes, set some nice screens, and scored from inside and outside the lane. The Hawks enjoyed another victory, but the Bobcats made them earn it. Every player on the Hawks team scored and made great defensive plays. Jared Snyder of the Hawks showed great skill with several steals and intercepted passes. Watch videos of each player scoring below. The Hawks face the Celtics next and will need to be prepared to play at their absolute best.
