Blake and the Upward Hawks played a tough game against the Celtics. Even though they faced a much bigger and really quick team in the Celtics, the Hawks never gave up and played really well. They ruled the boards by allowing the Celtics to gain only a couple rebounds, a huge accomplishment considering the Celtics were taller than virtually every player they matched up against on the Hawks. The Hawks defense stood strong at half court and bottled several of the better Celtics players at the edges and corners. The Celtics played great defense too and these two facts contributed to an extremely low scoring game. Several Hawks players went down with injuries but played through the pain and fought to the very end. The game ended in a tie, but the Hawks held their own and remain unbeaten! They’re looking forward to their next game vs the Pacers.
