In the 2nd meeting with the Pacers, Blake and his Upward Hawks executed several plays, many never used before, and really dominated the game, both offensively and defensively. The Pacers had the ball first and scored on their very first possession. That’d be the last basket scored by the Pacers until late in the 2nd half. The Hawks defense locked down on the Pacers and prevented any shots inside the lane. On the other end of the court, the fast, slashing cuts to the basket yielded numerous baskets for every player on the Hawks team. Though 2 players were out for the Hawks and the players received only one period each to rest, the boys stepped up their game and put on a clinic on offense and defense. The entire team moved the ball well, controlled the offense, and when on defense, smothered the Pacers. The Hawks will face the Bobcats again next and look forward to a tough fight.
