Blake threw down some great practice laps at CAMP MX on Saturday, hitting a big uphill double and a couple tabletops. Adam had the track in great condition.
Sunday morning rolled around and Blake was ready to race. The first class Blake raced was the Small 4-Stroke class. Blake won the holeshot and jumped out front early in the first moto to finish 1st. Blake won the holeshot in the 2nd moto and never looked back. He finished first and won the 1st place overall podium spot.
Blake then raced in the Open 4-Stroke class first and got a great start and fought hard to win 1st place in the 1st moto. In the 2nd moto,
Blake won the holeshot and held on to 1st place until the chain came off his bike late in the 2nd moto and he fought back to finish 5th. He won 3rd place overall.
The last class Blake raced was the 65cc 7-9 class and got a great start jumping out quick and fought for position among the other riders to finish 3rd in the 1st moto. In the 2nd moto, Blake got a great start and rod with a fire never seen before. He made great decisions, chose new lines, and fought to finish 2nd place. Blake earned the 2nd place podium spot to enjoy the highest finish thus far on his KX65!
